Henry's Story

There was nothing greater than tracking Henry's growth when we were in the hospital with his PH. When so much of life at the NICU is up and down and unknown, it was refreshing to have something to look forward to doing with Henry while he was in the hospital. We took weekly pictures and enjoyed looking back to see how much growth really occurred while Henry was at North.

Bottom line, Mr. Potato Head gave us hope when sometimes things felt very scary. A simple hope that our baby boy would grow to be bigger than this toy that towered over him when they first met. I guess Mr. P is a symbol of all that is wrapped up into a parents desire to see their little baby grow big and strong and live a happy life. Amazing how one little plastic toy can mean so much...
