Dear Crafty Volunteers,
As we prepare for our upcoming silent auction November 11 - 16, we invite you to become an Ambassador for your State within your local community. We deeply value your commitment to our mission, and this request reflects the trust and appreciation we have for your ongoing support. The Silent Auction is our most significant annual fundraiser, supplying essential funds to continue sending care packages to NICU families nationwide.
As an Ambassador of your State, you will be the crucial link between The Potato Head Project and local businesses. Your support is needed in reaching out to:

Local businesses such as restaurants, shops, artisans, and services for donated items.

Family and friends – please help spread the word, as every contribution is valuable.

NICU hospitals to share information about our mission and what
Gift certificates and services from nationwide chains are preferred. For local items, we ensure all donations can be sent to winning bidders throughout the country!
We hope you will consider donating a unique, locally-made/locally grown product from your State – something that exemplifies the creativity and spirit of your home. Let’s ensure that the State’s unique products and community spirit are well represented at this year’s Silent Auction. Handmade items are especially appreciated.

Contact small business owners to contribute and we will recognize their business on our social media sites.

Reach out to businesses or individuals who can provide care package items, such as chapsticks, lotions, pens, travel kleenex, water bottles, makeup or IPSY Bags. You can find a full list on our website.

We’ll provide you with letter templates, forms and support to help make your outreach as simple and effective as possible. Your involvement helps us meet our fundraising targets and moves us one step closer to achieving our mission of reaching as many NICU families as possible in every hospital, in every city and in every State.
